Turkish drama has always been very popular here, but it was a personal recommendation from Imran Khan that put Diriliş Ertuğrul on top of everyone's list to watch.

Indeed, it was Prime Minister's request that prompted PTV to describe the drama in Urdu. In the show that is now being broadcast, share his views on why people should try it.



According to the Prime Minister, Diriliş Ertuğrul "shows the culture of Islam."

"Usually we copy the things that were copied from Hollywood."

He added that the drama "also has romantic and historical moments, but with the display of Islamic values ... I want our children and youth to know what our culture is."

Diriliş Ertuğrul started broadcasting in Urdu on PTV from the first in Ramadan.
