Former Pakistani leader Sana Mir announced her retirement from international cricket on Saturday after a marvelous rally that made her the most successful spinning in the history of International Day.

The 34-year-old ranked first in the women's ODI ranking in 2018 and led the team that won the gold medal from the 2010 and 2014 Asian Games.
Her rise coincided with the growth of sports opportunities for Pakistani women, who were not allowed to play in open fields until the early 2000s.

She said in a statement issued by the Pakistan Cricket Council (PCB): "I feel very comfortable because I was part of the women's cricket success stories.
