A 26-year-old doctor died from coronavirus at the Holy Family Hospital in Rawalpindi, at noon on Saturday.

The medical supervisor of the hospital Dr. Shehzad confirmed that the young doctor died on 19 Coved. She revealed that Dr. Rabia Tayyeb had complained of symptoms of the mild flu and cough on April 20, which doctors declared a normal fever.

When her the condition worsened four days later, she was transferred to the Holy Family Hospital. They put her in a respirator, but she died on April 30.

The doctor came from Gujar Khan in Rawalpindi and was the daughter of the famous teacher Muhammad Tayyib. He graduated from Quaid-i-Azam Medical College in Bahawalpur and was due to start his work at home from May 1.

Her death came a day after the disclosure of data exchanged by the National Center for Emergency Operations that at least 191 health care providers and medical workers had been diagnosed with coronavirus within a week.

The total number of injured medical workers in the country has increased to 444.
The report showed that 216 doctors 67 nurses and 161 health workers had positive results across the country. Of these 204 were isolated in their homes 138 were hospitalized and 94 recovered from the disease.
