His son Hollywood star Ben Stiller said that veteran and comedian Jerry Stiller who found fame on Broadway and later on the American big show Seinfeld died of natural causes at the age of 92.

Stiller Sunner and his wife Ann Meera starred on stage and television in the 1960s, writing books and performing comedies and routines together.
He later played the angry father of George Costanza, Frank, on the main TV show Seinfeld which earned the appearance of its most entertaining guest on a TV series at the 1998 American Comedy Awards.

He was nominated for the previous year's Emmy Award for the same role.

He also played Lea Rimini's father in the comedy King of Queens and starred with Ben in Zoolander films.It saddened me to say that my father, Jerry Stiller, died of natural causes the award-winning actor and director said in a tweet.

He was a great father and great-grandfather and a loyal husband now for almost 62 years added Stiller. We will miss him a lot. I love you, Dad.
Jason Alexander, who played George in the movie Seinfeld described his father on the screen as a good friend.

Maybe he was the best guy I was privileged to work with Alexander said on Twitter.
