Another doctor died Sunday morning of the coronavirus in Karachi, according to the General Secretary of the Pakistan Medical Association Dr. Qaisar Sajjad.

Dr. Furqan ul-Haq - who recently retired from the Karachi Institute of Cardiology - is the third doctor in Karachi who has fallen victim to the disease. According to Dr. Sajjad, it was necessary to place the deceased on a ventilator, but he was unable to find the facility despite visiting several hospitals.

He confirmed his infection with the virus about four days ago and isolated himself at home. But due to heart problems, he started having difficulty breathing since Saturday said the head of the Palestine Monetary Authority adding that the wife of the deceased was also positive.

He added that Dr. Al-Haq tried to enter any of the isolation rooms, but he was unable to receive medical treatment.
