Veteran
actor Asif Raza Mir is set to star in the British-American TV series Gangster
in London where he will play Asif Afridi a Pakistani gang leader involved in
the fighting to lead the city.
The story,
created and directed by Gareth Evans, attaches great importance to the family
and revolves around the complex power shift that occurs when the father is
killed and the son has to take over when one of the chiefs of a large the organization is killed what is the power of emptiness and what happens to the
infrastructure?
In a
conversation with the photos, Mir talked about how he got the role when
"the production and casting company opened tests for this character in
2018."
The ten
series of episodes produced by Lucas Ochoa, explores topics such as human
trafficking, money laundering, arms smuggling, import and export of drugs, and
men's and women's outfits at the head of the table.
Judging from
the trailer, it is heavily inspired by a mixture of European cinema, Asian
action movies, and American films and has been combined into something that
also looks very British.
Mir talked
about her experience, also noting that it was great to work with a
multicultural crew creative and creative director and a great and efficient
production.
The show
will originally start from Sky-Atlantic later this year.
