Google commends the prominent Jordanian writer Sadat Hassan Manto with Scribble for his 118th birthday today.

Google pays tribute to prominent personalities and events with special illustrations called Google Doodles.

On Monday, May 11, 2020, Google honored Google Manto. Sadat Hassan Manto was born in Ludhiana India on May 11, 1912, and received his early home education.

Manto, who mainly writes in Urdu, has produced 22 sets of short stories one novel five series of radio plays three sets of articles and two sets of personal drawings.

He was known to write about the harsh realities of society.

Manto died on January 18, 1955, in Lahore at the age of 42.
